Commercial Description:
Subtlety. That's what makes our Avalanche amber ale such a treat. We blend pale and caramel malts -- and just a kiss of bittering hops -- to create a refreshing-but-flavorful, any-time beer. Aromas of pale grains, a semi-sweet middle and a clean-as-Colorado-snow finish make this our best-selling beer.

Pours a yellowish amber. Aroma is grainy with light hops and a mild sweetness. Flavor is bland with minimal hops but a medium grain presence.

A hazy amber beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet and lightly hopped, while the flavor is boring with light notes of berries, leading to a dry end.

Hazy amber color. Smells like a fart. Thin mouthfeel without anything to part it from water.

Bottle. Nothing special here. Very grainy tasting. Slightly metallic finish. There are much better amber ales out there.

Bottle. Poured clear amber with a moderate frothy white head that lasted. Average sweet hoppy aroma. Medium body with soft carbination. Balanced sweet bitter hop flavor with a finish of average duration. Drinkable brew.

Pours cloudy orange amber with off-white head that fades quickly. Aroma of citrus, grains and caramel malt. Flavor is very thin and watery with a light sweet citrus spritz. Crisp finish, but not much else.

Pour is a brown with a small white head. Aroma is caramel malts but nothing else really shows up. Flavor is total blandness. Wet paper bag lager is how i would describe it. Lack of all things beer like make this one to forget.
