Apr 21, 2009 Pours copper with a small off white head. Aroma is sweet caramel malt. Flavor is caramel malt with a tiny bit of smokiness and slightly bitter finish. Not that bad.

Apr 16, 2009 Tap. Moderate malt aroma of dark bread, light pine and dough for the hops and yeast, with a hint of brown sugar. Head is average size, frothy, off-white with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is sparkling clear dark copper. Flavor starts faintly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic, moderately bitter and a bit sour. Palate is medium, watery, and has a fizzy carbonation. An easy drinking Amber, but the flavor could use a little improvement.
