| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 29, 2008 Breckenridge Avalanche Amber is a hazy amber beer with a small off-white head. The aroma and flavor were full of mossy wheat and the finish was very modest. This is not a dry beer, but also not a very wet one.
All in all, this was not an enjoyable beverage. Edgekrusher (83), , Alabama, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 3, 2008 This Amber Ale was consumed for lunch at the Capital Ale House in Fredericksburg, VA. The ale had a nice head from the tap and a dark amber color. It was just too thin and not much in the flavor area. Some hops but little malt. It had some sweetness as a finish. chandler0201 (351), Durham, North Carolina, USA

Not really distinguishable from Michelob Amber, which is sad because this is much more expensive. SODAK14 (107), Rapid City, South Dakota, USA
