Gregis (923), Shawnee, Kansas, USA May 22, 2007 Pours a dark, sparkling orange with a small, fizzy off-white head. The aroma is muted caramel and straw, and the mouthfeel is light, thin and almost fizzy. This beer is pretty indistinct with no specific flavors jumping out. It has a light, sweet start, a fizzy faint caramel in the middle and a very light hop finish. While light and refreshing, if you want flavor, look elsewhere. Could make a passable session beer if you want something that might please your friends that have yet to leave the BMC ranks.
mwelsh13 (181), Maryland, USA Oct 7, 2008 22 oz bottle split between two pints poured medium brown with a small white head. Light caramel aroma. Thin body was slightly skunky/cabbage like. Maybe a bad bottle, I hope. WakeandBake (89), Greenville, Michigan, USA Oct 2, 2008 A nice light amber ale, nothing really stands out here, easy drinking, nothing offensive, just a good ale Prometheus (36), Richmond, Virginia, USA Sep 29, 2008 Poured a nice amber with a substantial head.
Nothing spectacular to the aroma or to the flavor, but it was not bad. lumpsowers (87), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA Sep 18, 2008 Sour, flat, thin awful. Perhaps this had gone bad? The one that I had out of a bottle from my reliable cool bottle store was just awful, I poured it out. kyzr (960), Belgrade, Montana, USA Sep 15, 2008 Clear amber pour with nice white head. Light roast and some hops on the nose. Flavor has a touch of roasted malt with a decent hint of hops. Body is medium with a clean dry finish.
