Dark Brown Coloring With Good Head. Pretty Lower End Average Brew. Definitly the Best of Breckenridge So Far... Some Malt on the Nose and Tongue..Lightly Nutty... But Not Very Good Overall.

Very dark brown color with a medium head. Just a pinch of malt and nut on the nose. The taste is not too shabby at all... a little malt and chocolate, but none of the nut I would look for in a brown. It’s not bad and one of the better Breckenridge beers out there.

Dark, dark amber. highly bittered. Woody and nutty, but in the end it was just an average beer. No true character.

I must admit that when I had this beer I was a bit buzzed. Also, after the first pint, I had just started the second when one of the people at the table with me (who was from New Zealand) asked me where I was from. Dark brown. Smooth. Typical brown ale, nothing super special.

Sample size, on tap at the brewpub: Dark ruby brown with no head. Slightly malty nose, fizzy texture, boring weak ending.
