Commercial Description:
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

Good stout not the best oatmeal stout though. I do like the roasted maltyness and the dark chocolate bitterness. Not enough oatmeal presence here and the mouthfeel was slightly watery followed by a unplesent strange sour/tart finish. This beer really didn’t come together for me. Would I drink it again sure I will but only cause I bought a six pack and have five more. Not really impressed by this one.

Bottle. Coffee and roasted malt aroma. Dark brown with a ruby tinge, and a small brown head. Coffee and roasted malt flavor with lingering hops. Slightly creamy, medium bodied with a touch of carbonation. A pleasant stout that I would drink again.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a completely opaque black with a fair frothy light-brown head, decent lacing. Aroma is roasted malts, oats, coffee, chocolate, and a hint of fruit. Flavor is sweet, buttery, roasted malt, coffee, with a touch of bitterness. Mouthfeel is creamy, medium bodied, and bitter at the end. Good beer, drinkable.

Poured dark with a small head. Aroma is of the roasted grains, coffee and a bit of chocolate. Taste is a little bland but the aftertaste of coffee and chocolate is good. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side. Overall, its a decent, if under-powered, stout. As the beer warms, the flavor becomes a little more apparent.
