Sweet stout like taste with a bitter finish. A little thin on the body. Good but nothing special. A nice smooth easy to drink stout. jeffwilliams11 (310), hooterville, Michigan, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 18, 2008 Aroma of oats, chocolate, and roasted malt. Taste however was a bit more watered down with a light body. I’ve had better oatmeal stouts and wouldn’t suggest this one over most others. Probably wouldn’t buy again. amishcaravan (239), Winona, Minnesota, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 8, 2008 Pours a rich, appetizing sable-brown with a thick tan head that persists for a bit. Aroma is very inviting, smoky and stouty with a hint of molasses. Texture is not as rich as I expected, but the flavor is delicious and smoky with hints of coffee and brown sugar, and a nice bitter hoppy nip in the finish. I am fond of oatmeal stouts, and if this is not the best one I have ever tried it is still a winner.
