Commercial Description:
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

Not sure why this is only in the 65 percentile , i think it is pretty underrated really. This is a great simple oatmeal stout. Just a bit behind Goose Island’s offering.

Bitter stout with a coffee like flavor and aroma. Dark like a stout should be. Not as creamy as others. Thin head and and light body.

I really like this oatmeal stout. It is a bit on the syrupy side I suppose, but overall a nice beer. Has a nice mouthfeel and smells like an oatmeal should. To me the color is a bit off though.

Pours a nice dark brown, almost black, thin tannish foam. Aroma is almost nonexistent. Flavor is sharp but somewhat one-dimensional, not complex at all. I’d say okay, certainly wouldn’t bother buying it again.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of Acknud. Pours a dark, almost opaque brown. Almost no head and minimal lacing. Taste is hearty malts with mild chocolate undertones. Creamy mouthfeel. Good session stout.

Nice session beer. More aroma then the average beer, treacle comes to mind.Pretty to look at - opaque coffee brown with a pale lacy head. Slightly bitter, coffee flavor, hint of roastyness. Flavor linger on the pallette, though not at length. Pleasant addition to the seesion beer group.

not real sure why this one scores so low. i love sweet stouts, and thought this was really good. fairly average compared to sam smiths, but a nice alternative nonetheless. good oatmeal flavor, fairly dark and creamy. would buy again.
