| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 6, 2007 Bomber: Aroma is malty, chocolate, bready, a bit of caramel, somewhat grainy and a bit of oatmeal. Appearance is opaque, black with a medium sized tan head that diminishes into a soapy head that linger for quite a while. Taste has a nice maltiness to it, with dominance of chocolate note. A light amount of caramel intermingled with a nuttiness that diminishes lightly into a roasted note. Palate is slightly bitter, chocolate, and rather long lasting. Overall a decent Oatmeal Stout. Very dark with a light brown head. The head lasted the whole time I was sipping it. Robust malty aroma, sweet bitter chocolate notes with faint coffee. Flavour is equally complimenting to the aroma with similar notes. Palate is good not too watery and not to thick... light oily. Very enjoyable. Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 31, 2007 Bomber. Black with a light brown head. Lightly sweet, roasty malt nose, medium chocolate and light, sweet coffee. Roasty coffee comes to the fore in the mouth, some medium chocolate. A bit creamy. Maybe it was all the huge beers we had that day, but this guy didn’t hold up well to the competition. Still, not bad. WolfsBlood84 (103), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 29, 2007 1 Pint, 9 oz bottle - Pours a dark brown with hardly any tan head. Smells of oatmeal, slight coffee, and a little alcohol. Taste is almost exactly the same. Too watered down and not thick enough to be a great stout for me - also at only 5% alcohol - it should be hidden better. There are many better stouts out there. chimpscampee (556), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

No annoying sweetness and heavenly dry finish. I drained poured Breckenridge proper ale so I was surprised for the need to deliver props on this one. Bravo. GeneralGao (3057), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
