Commercial Description:
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

Mild aroma of coffee and general roastiness. Pours dark brown with a nice little tan head. Flavor is again roasty, not complex. Creamy in the mouth with a dry finish.

Hints of chocolate and coffee, and slightly bitter. It has a nice black color and it poured with a slight head.

Pours near black with ruby hues near the corner with a fully receding tan head. Aroma of foamy roast, coffee, and mild chocolate. Taste is lightly sweet with notes of chocolate, coffee, and light roast. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with lush carbonation.

A thick and heavy stout. This one lays it on thick. A crude oil color and dark brown tint compliment the foamy oatmeal head. A great after dinner drink in the colder months of the year.

Black chocolate with firm head. Decent roast aroma and coffee roast notes apparent in flavor. Smooth, quaffable stout and Breckenridge’s best selection.

Bottle sampled from Capone’s. Pours dark with an average size tan head. Aroma is sweet, roast, chocolate, and grain. The flavor is also sweet, roast, grain, chocolate, and sweet. Good brew.

Nice sweet stout. My palate is ruined because I just had a Rogue Chocolate Stout, but I tried to "reset" it multiple times. This is the best of the Breckenridge beers I’ve had. Medium strong aroma of chocolate. Pour was a dark black but no head. Taste is chocolate, carbonation and bitter aftertaste. Bubbles burn the back of the throat after swallow. Like a watered down imperial stout (but its good0

Pours close to a pitch black with a fairly thick head that approaches 2 fingers. Leaves a massive lacing as time passes. Nose is distinct with an obvious sweet tone. Taste is deep with extremely thick coffee tones. Mouthfeel is slightly bitter with a thick and frothy feel. Overall a good brew. Worth drinking again and again I think, because of it’s even style.
