pours black with amber tint. a very thin carmel color head. smells hint of chocolate and roasted malts. tastes the same with a long bitter aftertaste. how ever it goes down extemly smooth good for a hot day.

Pours a deep black with just hints of some deep amber. Smaller to medium size light tan bubbly/creamy lightly lacing head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee grinds, roasted malts, some oats and lactose. Flavors of coffee grinds, dark chocolate and roasted malts. Some oats to smooth it out and hints of lingering bitterness. Nice oatmeal stout.

Bottle - Black pour with brown/mahogany highlights and a compact tan head that quickly dissipates to leave just a skimming of bubbles. The aroma is roasted malt, coffee and a slightly sour note. The flavor is roast/burnt grainy malts with a dry finish that has a sour/acidic tinge. Palate is a bit thin for the style.

Bottle: Nearly black, thin frothy beige head, few rings of lacing.   Roasted malt nose, slight milk sugar.   This beer is all up front, quick milky sweet roastiness but it thins out at the end.   Moderate body.   Clean, certainly finishes easy but on the lighter side.   I wouldn’t say its watered down just that its all up front.   Needs some umph in the malt department to thicken it up.

pretty good brew, has an okay bit of a coffee aroma, nice black colour, tan creamy head that disipates quickly, looked a lot like acoke after that, has a bit of a chocolate flavor to it maybe a hint of toffee. overall not too bad.

was initially scared to taste because it literally smelled like vomit. it had a real metallic and acrid aroma. initial flavor is decent...dark almost burnt molasses and a dry bitter finish. has a lingering metal flavor that makes me feel like i have to spit.

Very thin stout, black in color, no head whatsoever, minimal lacing around the glass, aroma of sour liqour & slightly toasted grains, watery thin body, sour mouthfeel, thin flavors with only a slight notes of roasted grains & malts with a touch of hops, finish was average with a bit more hops included but with a very sour & watery mouthfeel, slight black licorice flavor, sour finish, not a very good stout at all

Bottle from Capone’s. Deep brownish pour with 1-finger tan head. Aroma of dark malt, chocoff, brown sugar, some nuts. Tastes dark malty, roasty, with chocoff and subdued finishing hops. Gets more roasty, and I dare say a little rauchy, as it warms.
