Commercial Description:
Rich, round and roasted, our Oatmeal Stout is satisfaction in a glass. It's a bold, smooth-bodied concoction that oozes dark-roasted coffee aromas and flavors of espresso and semi-sweet chocolate. We round out these heady pleasures with a dose of flaked oatmeal for a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Unforgettable.

Bottle. Pours opaque brown-black with rocky tan head. There is a light coffee aroma with some chocolate and caramel notes, and an occasional sharp wisp of charcoal. The flavor is lots of oats and roasted malt, but there’s a weird soapy taste in there, too. Cheap coffee, some chocolate. Cardboardy hop finish. I’ve had much better.

Pouring a deep brown with a creamy beige head, I like the aroma better than the flavor, propably because of the slightly watery nature of the drink. Coffee, roasted barley and barley malts, and a splash of chocolate appear both in nose and taste, although stronger in the former. Finishes on a mildly dry note.

pours black and smooth. a smooth flavor with a pleasant slightly burnt aftertaste. not my favorite when it comes to oatmeal stouts. it has a good flavor, but I find it too mild for this kind of beer.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with OhioDad (thanks!). Poured a dark, dark brown color with an averaged sized tan head. Aromas of chocolate, roast, and oat. Tastes of chocolate, roasted malts, oatmeal, and some coffee. Bitter sweet. Light lacing left on the glass.

Bottle (12oz). via trade with Fyrecrakker05. Poured deep opaque brown-black with an average rocky-foamy tan head. Roasty malt aroma, lots of milk chocolate in this one, shifts to bitter chocolate on warming, with some roast nut, coffee bean and even molasses notes - nothing special, but pleasant. Pretty generic roast coffee/chocolate flavour, nut oils and dark caramel malt - quick finish, enough bitterness that I don’t think "sweet" but it could use more hop bitterness. It’s a little light bodied for a stout, a bit watery and flat - overall very drinkable, just nothing special - thanks, Fyrecrakker05!

Bottle. Dark brown pour with a huge frothy light brown head that lasted and produced great lacing. Good roasted coffee and dark chocolate aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Full complex roasted coffee and chocolate flavor with a solid pleasing bitter finish.

Deep brown/red color with a beautiful bi tan head that is rocky at first but quickly settles to a creamy smooth 1/4" layer. Aroma is burnt grain, maybe a twine of coffee and cereal. The flavor is all down hill. Has a very cheap oily, syrup, almost synthetic taste and feel. There are some burnt rains hidin somewhere, but I don’t want to keep this in my mouth long enuff to serch for them. Overall they almost had something. Appearance was nice aroma was average, it just tasted like crap.

Nice black body, with a dark tan head. Very pretty. The aroma is a sweet heavily roasted malt. There is definately a heavy coffee flavor, with some chocoalte and roasted malts. Very good stout. The finish is clean. Good beer.
