Sep 15, 2009 Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Black, beige head. Mild coffee aroma, Mid-dry, soothingly roasty espresso with cream atop but no sugar. Medium bodied with well rounded mouthfeel. Slight salty bitterness. Harmonious and well balanced.

Jul 27, 2004 Big beige head atop a red-clack body. Aroma is medium sweet, roasty, coffee, some chocolate. Taste is mild sweet, roasty coffee, some chocolate, finishes coffee bitter. Some hops in there as balance. Medium body, somewhat creamy. Not very sweet for a sweet stout.

Sep 15, 2007 A Sim rate (on tap at the Flyng Saucer Houston): Nice sweet aroma of oatmeal and dark chocolate. I just wish it was stronger. Opaque appearance with amazing lace. Bitter, bitter chocolate flavour. Bitter finish, but in a fascinating appealing way. Thick and oatmealy palate. Really enjoyed this one.
