Commercial Description:
Desire coupled with curiosity can drive you to do many foolish things. Fortunately, opening a bottle of our Pandora’s Bock is not one of them. Once it is released, a wealth of flavor and complexity will spill out into the world. With a traditional bock flavor profile and a hint of hoppy goodness, there’s a reason it’s spoken about in mythical terms.

Sweet nose of caramel and toasty malt along with a very light touch of floral hops and dark honey. Clear medium-dark amber color with a slight, subsiding head. Flavor is similarly malty and sweet, more toasted, sugary caramel and vague hint of dried fruit on the finish, which also shows a negligible amount of bitterness. Smooth and low in effervescence on the palate, body is medium. Easy to quaff, nearly as easy to forget.

12 OZ bottle served in a clear pint glass. It pours a rusty amber color with very little head. Nose is malt and slightly sour/bitter cherries. Taste is a semi bitter cherry, which lingers its bitter aspects on the palate long after the sip is swallowed. This brew is over carbonated and comes off more as a cherry cider than a beer. I probably wouldn’t drink this beer again.

Pours dark amber with a tan head. Aroma is tart fruit. Tastes the same. Slightly watery and sour apple-like.

Experienced via draft in a pub glass. The beer pours a deep brown to dark brown. One initially (unpleasantly) surprising aspect is the nearly complete lack of any malt in the aroma. The flavors that the beer gives are interesting and not at all unpleasant, but not really what one would expect from a bock. Again, there was a distinct lack of the malt complexity that is usually seen in a bock. The hops were also surprising, as an assertive bitterness is outside the normal boundaries of the style. Overall, I like the creativity, but think that someone should send a 50lb sack of munich malt to Breckenridge.

12oz bottle. Poured a medium and hazy copper color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, toastiness, some grains, and a little earthy. Tastes of toasted grains, caramel, tart grape skins, and citrus. This one seemed to be all over the place.

Great caramel aroma, but a bit downhill after that. Pours an okay brown, little head. Mildly sweet caramel and vanilla are all I get out of this. Okay beer.

Murky brown color with a medium head. Caramel malt and light apple aroma. Slightly sour apple flavor. Dense and muddled grain. A little cardboardy.
