Commercial Description:
Desire coupled with curiosity can drive you to do many foolish things. Fortunately, opening a bottle of our Pandora’s Bock is not one of them. Once it is released, a wealth of flavor and complexity will spill out into the world. With a traditional bock flavor profile and a hint of hoppy goodness, there’s a reason it’s spoken about in mythical terms.

Pours medium amber with contrasting white head. Nose is on the "sweet" side with honey and bready malt. On the palate the malt is noticeable right away, but this is a lighter bock than most and the lighter bodied malt component fades into the honeyed finish. Alcohol is noticed on the finish also. Clean and refreshing. Good for those who like a lighter bock. I’d recommend this as a gateway beer to German style bocks.

12 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a clear deep copper color with a one finger thick off white head. Light lacing. Aroma is toasted grain with light esters and herbal hops. Flavor is sweet toasted caramel malt with a hint of hops. Medium body and soft carbonation. A decent beer.

Dark amber color. Sweet carmel aroma and taste. Little hop bitterness. Not a style that I enjoy.

Bottle Pours a reddish brown with a diminishing tan head. The head laces fairly well. Has a good aroma of seet fruits and light hops. Has a light carbination. Has a watery texture. Not the greatest mouthfeel. Flavor is very mellow. Light bodied. Blend is okay, doesn’t seem as heavy ABV as it is. The finish is lacking. It is not a very complex beer.

Reddish-brown pour with a light tan head. Slight hint of malt aroma. Tastes semi-sweet and a bit bitter at the end. I am glad I only bought one.

This one is just boring!!! Chestnut pour with a reddish hue and small tan head that left average lacing. Caramel, toffee, and malt...no depth at all. Medium mouthfeel with decent carbonation. Highly drinkable and invisible ABV.

After sampling 4 extremely average beers back to back, this is a pleasant change. The contrast is probably affecting my rating, but here goes: Pours red with a medium head. Aroma is sweet, molasses, toast, and faint apple skins. Flavor is nice, typical bock toasted flavor, caramel, spots of nuttiness, yeast rolls, slight burlap, hop pepper, and mild tobacco in the finish. Underrated, I think.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a 2 finger dense beige head that leaves decent lacing. The nose is sweet caramel malt and light fruit. The taste is caramel, toasted nuts, fruit and earthy hops in the finish. Medium bodied. An OK Bock.
