thehoff (567), Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA Mar 28, 2009 Sample from Imperial.
Definite rusty amber color with frothy cream head. Smells malty. A little bit of grass perhaps. Vanilla, toffee in the nose. Different flavor. Carries in the roof of the mouth, smooth and sweet. A little bit of Christmas in there I think. Dry finish , not a hint of hops. Slightly tinny.
