Commercial Description:
Desire coupled with curiosity can drive you to do many foolish things. Fortunately, opening a bottle of our Pandora’s Bock is not one of them. Once it is released, a wealth of flavor and complexity will spill out into the world. With a traditional bock flavor profile and a hint of hoppy goodness, there’s a reason it’s spoken about in mythical terms.

Dark amber color. Sweet carmel aroma and taste. Little hop bitterness. Not a style that I enjoy.

Pours dark amber with a tan head. Aroma is tart fruit. Tastes the same. Slightly watery and sour apple-like.

After sampling 4 extremely average beers back to back, this is a pleasant change. The contrast is probably affecting my rating, but here goes: Pours red with a medium head. Aroma is sweet, molasses, toast, and faint apple skins. Flavor is nice, typical bock toasted flavor, caramel, spots of nuttiness, yeast rolls, slight burlap, hop pepper, and mild tobacco in the finish. Underrated, I think.

I really wanted to like a beer with this name. Aroma is malts and vanilla. Flavour is thin and wattered down.

Sample from Imperial. Definite rusty amber color with frothy cream head. Smells malty. A little bit of grass perhaps. Vanilla, toffee in the nose. Different flavor. Carries in the roof of the mouth, smooth and sweet. A little bit of Christmas in there I think. Dry finish , not a hint of hops. Slightly tinny.

Courtesy MrBunn. Pours reddish brown, decent head. Smells of apple cider. A little thin in the mouth, but not bad. A little sweet in the finish. Not bad.

Pours dark amber brown with a fairly large tan head. Aroma is a mixture of pale and caramel malt. Flavor is a slightly sweet caramel flavor that is also slightly sour. Not bad but not great.

Seasonal on tap at the brewery in Denver. Pours a deep, dark amber color with a slight head and fine bubbles. Slight hop bitterness along with a viscus (alcohol) lace. Malty sweetness struggles against hops presence.
