Commercial Description:
Desire coupled with curiosity can drive you to do many foolish things. Fortunately, opening a bottle of our Pandora’s Bock is not one of them. Once it is released, a wealth of flavor and complexity will spill out into the world. With a traditional bock flavor profile and a hint of hoppy goodness, there’s a reason it’s spoken about in mythical terms.

Reddish-brown pour with a light tan head. Slight hint of malt aroma. Tastes semi-sweet and a bit bitter at the end. I am glad I only bought one.

BOTTLE: at Four Firkins (St. Louis Park, MN). Copper/brown pour, fig/sugar nose, taste is sweet/sour, just okay. Not a great beer.

Bottle, very nice, a clean sparkling golden amber, no head, but good carbonation level, no lacing, really nice mellow malt with a clean modest hop finish, rather like pilsner

Russet brown with poor foam retention. The aroma is a mixture of a sour brown and melted candy. Ugh. The flavor is reminiscent of HFCS grape juice. Double Ugh. This is a terrible exampe of a bock.

Malty caramel, slight molasses. Reddish brown color, medium head. Deep sweetness, caramel, raisins, and a nice bitter balance. Good carbonation, medium mouth feel, malty, but cleanish finish. Very solid beer, deep flavors and satisfying.

Pours a deep almost ruby copper color. No real head to speak of. Light aroma of sweet malt and cherry. Flavor is sweet but not cloying and a light hoppiness comes through. Smooth finish. Not bad, very drinkable.

ok, ill admit. i picked this up as part of a mixed sixer due to the sweet ass name and cool bottle label. plus i figured i might as well throw a lager in the sixer to balance out all of the ales already there. this was better than i expected. definate carmel and some molases. this was good and i am definately saving the bottle.
