May 1, 2008 12oz. bottle, thanks to natedoggkc. Sweet nose of caramel and toasty malt along with a very light touch of floral hops and dark honey. Clear medium-dark amber color with a slight, subsiding head. Flavor is similarly malty and sweet, more toasted, sugary caramel and vague hint of dried fruit on the finish, which also shows a negligible amount of bitterness. Smooth and low in effervescence on the palate, body is medium. Easy to quaff, nearly as easy to forget.

Sep 26, 2004 Hazy red-brown body with minimal beige head. Aroma is very sweet, molasses, caramel, slight metallic. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, butterscotch, molasses, some cola, light alcohol. Full body, fairly sticky.

Feb 18, 2004 A little malt in the aroma. Fairly light and thin. Would be great for warm weather. Typical of Breckenridge, this beer is light and not complex, but still very drinkable. A little Band-Aid and caramel in the flavor.

Jun 8, 2009 Murky brown color with a medium head. Caramel malt and light apple aroma. Slightly sour apple flavor. Dense and muddled grain. A little cardboardy.

Sep 26, 2004 Hazy copper with a small light tan head. Sweet caramel and molasses, quite sweet. Flavor is similar but has some odd metallic components that do not jive with all of that sweetness. Stick medium body. Harsh finish. Not so great.

Jan 30, 2009 Pour is a dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is a very minor roasted malt. Flavor is again a very small rosted malt and caramel. There is nothing good about this beer and its way to expensive.

Apr 15, 2009 Bottle Pours a reddish brown with a diminishing tan head. The head laces fairly well. Has a good aroma of seet fruits and light hops. Has a light carbination. Has a watery texture. Not the greatest mouthfeel. Flavor is very mellow. Light bodied. Blend is okay, doesn’t seem as heavy ABV as it is. The finish is lacking. It is not a very complex beer.

Apr 22, 2009 Sampled on 4/21/2009. This dunkel bock pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized beige foamy head, with decent retention. The aroma is caramel, bready and sweet. A light to medium bodied dunkel bock. The malts are bready and sweet. The hops are floral and earthy. A touch thin and a little under-carbonated. A little bland. This beer needs to be way maltier. Hides the alcohol well. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. The finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
