Chestnut pour with a reddish hue and small tan head that left average lacing. Caramel, toffee, and malt...no depth at all. Medium mouthfeel with decent carbonation. Highly drinkable and invisible ABV. esjaygee (1578), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA

Taste of sweet malts, mild fruits, mostly malty. Drinkable and forgettable. Typical watery brew from BreckenWater, how in the world does this brewery get wide distribution… so many better ones out there. thejoeshow (232), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA

It looks a little lighter than I was expecting. Aroma falls short. I get subtle hints of caramel and a tinge on citrus but I had to look hard for them. Flavor is a little on the under noted side. This could be a bit more upfront. There are hints of caramel and maybe fruit at the end. Kinda weird It is very easy to drink, just not very "full" flavored. Not bad, just not great. ggilmore512 (2), Georgia, USA does not count | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 21, 2009 Good beer, easy to drink. Not the best bock I have ever had. Pretty forgettable, but would drink again. RHeastings (420), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

One initially (unpleasantly) surprising aspect is the nearly complete lack of any malt in the aroma. The flavors that the beer gives are interesting and not at all unpleasant, but not really what one would expect from a bock. Again, there was a distinct lack of the malt complexity that is usually seen in a bock. The hops were also surprising, as an assertive bitterness is outside the normal boundaries of the style. Overall, I like the creativity, but think that someone should send a 50lb sack of munich malt to Breckenridge. tomciccateri (514), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA

Pours a deep, dark amber color with a slight head and fine bubbles. Slight hop bitterness along with a viscus (alcohol) lace. Malty sweetness struggles against hops presence. Aroma is toasted malt, very light woody hop and a hint of alc.
Body is very light and watery and the taste is pretty thin. Light maltiness, some fruit tones. An earthy and tea-like bitterness in the finish.
