Oct 3, 2009 tap as 2220 Red Ale at Breckenridge brewpub in Denver - Pours clear red and has a very mild caramel malt aroma. The flavor is caramel malt with a good hops bite and some fruit notes. It’s medium bodied and moderately hopped with some hops bitterness lingering in the finish.

Sep 28, 2009 On tap at Breckenridge Ballpark poured a clear dark reddish amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of carmel, fruittiness and a hint of fruittiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of fruittiness, carmel and light earthiness with a crisp fruity finish.

Feb 21, 2009 Draft @ isle of Capri casino, in blackhawk. Pours a dark amber/red with a nice creamy off white head. Great retention and some spotty lacing. Aromas of weak caramel, sweet malts and a faint aroma of hops. Flavors are similar, sweet malts, hops and a decent balance of hops. Overall decent, but nothing to get excited about.

Oct 25, 2007 Draft @ the Breckenridge brewpub: Named 2220 Red Ale. The beer was mostly clear with a dark amber color and an off-white head. The aroma had big diacetyl notes. I actually can’t smell anything else. The flavor was malty with a big diacetyl flavor. The mouthfeel was slick and light. Mildly bitter dry finish.
