| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Dec 8, 2005 Caramel malts and piquant grapefruit citrus hops are almost overwhelmed by butterscotch character in the nose. Hazy, reddish-amber coloured body with a thin, white, fully diminishing head. Sweet caramel and nutty malts with another strong shot of butterscotch in the flavour. Light body is somewhat watery with low carbonation. For a rare moment, willblake and I agree on a beer... now back to your regularly scheduled programming. Sampled on tap as 2220 red ale at the brewpub.
