| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 28, 2002 Not a shabby red ale. I’m not usually a big fan of this style, but this one is decent. Quite dark, nice malt flavor turns quickly to hops, quite dry finish. Worth a try. (P.S. get the Breckenridge sampler pack) RSRIZZO (1368), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 21, 2007 Had this beer on 8/20/2001. Aroma is faint but a sweet malt scent can be found. Color is a rich hazy amber with good carbonation and a nice tight head. Taste is malty and smooth. Starting with a rich medium body it goes down smooth with a creamy feel. The finish is nice with a smooth malt flavor and a gentle hint of hops. Its very smooth for an Amber Volgon (2490), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
