Is this Breckenridge’s pale lager offering? No! It tastes like wheat malt that is a little hoopy, and sweet, and has a little funk to it too. Funk taste is not good. Aroma is a little skunky and like old malt (sneaker smell), a little doughy too. Flavor is a little sweet on the finish, a little dry, and kinda like almost bad fruit. hotstuff (3183), Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 29, 2008 Bottle. Small white head that mostly diminished, splotchy amount of lacing, transparent, carbonation observed, and a pale yellow hue. Nose was sweet, malty, hoppy, and fruity. Ditto for the flavor with some light bitterness. Tingly mouthfeel and light in body. This did not taste as crisp and refreshing as I had anticipated it would be. Somewhat of a disappointing beer. thedm (3837), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Feb 1, 2008 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy with a frothy top white colored bubbles that were and left behind a softly carbonated straw yellow colored body and a fair lacing. The aroma was musty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The off the mark flavor contained notes of breads and dough. Not one that I would buy again. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Nov 14, 2007 Light golden color, little to no head. Nose is sweet malt with hints of yeast, apple juice and citrus. Light bodied yet smooth with a nice drinkability. Finishes clean, slightly dry with just a hint of cascade hops. Nothing exotic, but a pretty good summer offering. Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 20, 2007 Upon the pour the color is a translucent gold, the head bright white and creamy, about three fingers in size, it depletes quickly leaving a velum like seal on the glass. Nose is sweet and fresh, bread dough, with a hint of orange peel, pleasant an appetizing. Start has a decent grain presence, with a touch of bitterness at the back, top is light to medium in feel. Finish has a diminutive acidity, the hops noticeable, very dry aftertaste, and a nice beer for the Arizona summers. Gregis (1136), Shawnee, Kansas, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 3, 2007 Pours a clear, effervescent, bright yellow with a frothy, white, diminishing head. The nose is of "dusty", lightly sour wheat and a faint citrus. Light-bodied and thin with lively carbonation and a clean finish with just a touch of astringency. Sweet and lightly sour wheat malt fronts the flavor with a lesser note of lemon in the background and a crisp, clean finish. It’s a decent summer wheat/thirst quencher, but it does little to distinguish itself from the pack. jason (1627), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA

Color is a yellow gold with good carbonation and a thin head. Taste is hoppy and bitter. Starting with a medium body it goes down crisp and fizzy. Finish comes in with mild malt taste backed by a full hop flavor and even bitterness.
