Commercial Description:
The brewmaster's goal: the perfect ale for summertime quaffing, nothing more. SummerBright is the result. The craftsman's touch combines white wheat, two row pale and munich malt with the pacific northwest's most intriguing hops to create a bright, clean ale ideal for picnicking, evenings on the screen porch and enjoying the whims of the summer breeze.

Bottle. Eh, okay beer. Nothing special about it. Generic American wheat aroma, with about the same in terms of flavor.

In the bottle at the Crescent Moon Sunfest. Heavily carbonated golden beer with a white head. Mango aroma. Metallic fruity citrus flavor. Mild lemon tartness. Strong fruitiness aty the finish.

Simple beer. Looks and tastes like a miller/Bud/coors light but finishes with a hint of hops. Not you typical summer beer. Barely, hints of fruityness

Split a six-pack of 12oz bottles from Martha’s Vineyard while visiting family. The dates on the side of the bottle weren’t indicated. Pours into a pint glass with a smooth pale color-a little darker than clear. A small one finger head appeared right away, but didnt stick around fod long. Little bit of hops, yeast, and floral in the aroma-but nothing too strong. Tastes light and smooth with just a hint of berry and hops, but again northing to strong or special. Tasted a bit better for me as it warmed up a bit to room temperature. I did my fair share to finish off the six-pack and it is an easy beer to drink with some taste, but overall I was a bit disappointed as I was expecting a bit more from this brewery. I would recommend this beer to someone interested in vearing from the mainstream as a starter, but I think that I will personally try another one of their offerings first before coming back to this one.

This one pours a nice golden color with a bit of haziness to it. The head was small and white. The smell definietly has that wheaty scent to it with a hint of an almost citrus type smell. Taste is weak at best. I notice a watery base with only hints of any flavor. I do notice just a bit of crispness to it and just a bit sour taste as I drink. They are indeed right, this one would not be bad for a picnic, unless you have something better to bring.

Nose of some wheat & hops, slight spice. Pours a sparkling golden. The creamy/frothy white head is mostly lasting with a thin curtain of lace. The flavor is light malt throughout. Touch of sourness in middle, bready finish. The light body is very creamy & the finish feels dry.

I actually love wheat beers but this one resembles chopped up wheat with some bitter apricot-like fruits buried in straw and gallons of water. The finish isn’t too bad as there is some residual dryness and carbonation. Not too sweet, more bittersweet. Compare to Lemon Pledge.

Not much aroma. Taste is simple and light and inoffensive. Certainly a drinkable beer, that doesn’t come off very wheaty at all.
