Commercial Description:
The brewmaster's goal: the perfect ale for summertime quaffing, nothing more. SummerBright is the result. The craftsman's touch combines white wheat, two row pale and munich malt with the pacific northwest's most intriguing hops to create a bright, clean ale ideal for picnicking, evenings on the screen porch and enjoying the whims of the summer breeze.

Pours a clear golden color with a thin white head. Aroma is doughy with hints of citrus, banana, and maybe a little bit of lemon. Flavor is similar but there really wasn’t much complexity to it. A pretty straight forward brew. Not very excited about this one at all.

Ho-Hum beer. Cider-like body under a fleeting wisp of white foam. bready malt, lemongrass, breakfast cereal. Light body, rather flat. Starts sweet, wheaty, bitter finish.

Pours about as yellow as your gonna get. white head that disapears. Not much for aroma except for a bit of wheat smell. Front to mid palette is nominal with a cereal taste toward the end. A tiny bit of some spice that I couldn’t quite place is thrown in there too.

From a 12 oz. long neck brown bottle with an unnotched bottled on date. Made a average appearance, poured a clear pale golden with a foamy white head that settled into a thin lacing, minimal amount of sticking, good carbonation. Had a cereal and cracker wheaty nose with a little macro-like fruitiness at the edges. A crisp, smooth light bodied mouth feel, average drinkability. Dry cracker and cereal taste, a sweet maltiness as well, a macro lager like hoppiness in the middle, a faint, soft lemon grassy and a dry cracker finish. A passable summer ale, not that different in some respects from some macro lagers out there, so I would only purchase this if it was on sale at a cheap, affordable price.

Draft at the Pour House, Denver. Little aroma - good clear golden pour is the best thing about the beer. Obvious wheat flavor, very innocuous, but maybe not quite insipid. Bartender topped with an orange slice, which I flicked away. Maybe should have left it.

I enjoyed this session beer. Hue is light yellow with a reddish tint. Head is white in color and thins fairly quickly. Good lace in the glass. Flavor is sweet with a honey note. Finish is short but fits this style. Aroma is slightly fruity and clean. Small particles and not a lot of carbonation. Overall this is a good warm weather beer.

Clear yellow body and a still head. Weak carbonation, slightly sweet wheat and malt syrup flavor. Has a definite cheap house character, like cheap extract homebrew, but it does redeem itself somewhat with a sweet lemongrass flavor in the finish. Not the ideal summer beer, but it works.

120z bottle. Clear light and golden. Good white head. Grainy cheerios aroma. Musty. Bready and citrus. As it opened up it became more rounded with a crisp finish. Not my favorite, but it did get better as it went.
