Commercial Description:
The brewmaster's goal: the perfect ale for summertime quaffing, nothing more. SummerBright is the result. The craftsman's touch combines white wheat, two row pale and munich malt with the pacific northwest's most intriguing hops to create a bright, clean ale ideal for picnicking, evenings on the screen porch and enjoying the whims of the summer breeze.

Citrusy hops, dark earthy sourness, yeasty aroma, kind of gross…definitely avoid in the future.

Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma was quite weak with cereal and grains supporting faint lemon rind and grass. The flavor had pale and cereal-inspired malts at the core with slightly more aggressive citrus and tangy wheat surrounding.. decent balance to it, and it was quite refreshing at the end. Crisp and light-bodied on the palate with some lemon and wheaty character lasting a while on the finish.. definitely servicable.

12oz bottle 4/16/09 (Binny’s-Naperville)-Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, grain, and some citrus. Taste is of the same with some lemon thrown in. This light to medium bodied brew would fit on a nice hot day.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a one finger white head that faded into a soap scum topper almost immediately. The nose is toasted malt, grain and light citrus. The taste is sour wheat, grain and sweet malt with some lemon in the finish. Medium, semi-prickly mouth feel. Not great, but drinkable.
