Jul 26, 2008 I really did not know what to expect from this one. Was it a wheat with the usual light semi flowery nose, slightly cloudy, with light spice, or was it to be slightly hoppy on both nose and finish?
It was neither. Not a great beer, but pleasant for sumer, just as discribed.

Jul 22, 2008 The perfect beer for summertime. The aroma is fruity, while the flavor is smooth and light-bodied. Easy to drink, and even easier to enjoy.

Clear bubbly yellow with a little white head. Smell is doughy and sweet and slightly sour. Flavor is watery lemon and wheat. Highly carbonated and watery.

Jul 11, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a thin finely-bubbled head. The aroma is very wheaty with a fresh floral touch of hops and bready, malted wheat. The flavor starts very wheaty, bready, and malty with a subtle touch of spice (fresh baked cookies with hints of nutmeg). There is also a light touch of floral hops. The finish is spicy with a crackery malt character and a nice balance of malted wheat and soft noble hops. The mouthfeel is medium in body with a light spritziness. Overall, a very refreshing, flavorful, tasty, well-balanced American wheat beer. I think this is beer is quite underrated - the average score is much lower than I would have expected.

Jul 7, 2008 on tap @ papago... pale gold/brownish pour with a thin white head. smells like honey, wheat/grain and orange... nothing else, really. there’s a barely noticeable sweetness on the palate... flavors of honey without the sweet, grain, some soft citrus and a tart dry finish. light to medium body with a bright mouth feel. good for drinking if you don’t want to think about it.

Jun 22, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours, clear, filtered, golden yellow color with a foamy white head. Aroma is a heavenly citrus hop floating over a sweet malt aroma. Flavor a citrus tart flavor with some malt, then followed by a crisp hop bitterness. A very impressive summer time beer. Super refreshing, light bodied, and as exciting flavorwise as Spain’s win over Italy (4-2 on PKs). Cheers.
