Commercial Description:
The brewmaster's goal: the perfect ale for summertime quaffing, nothing more. SummerBright is the result. The craftsman's touch combines white wheat, two row pale and munich malt with the pacific northwest's most intriguing hops to create a bright, clean ale ideal for picnicking, evenings on the screen porch and enjoying the whims of the summer breeze.

Given the stated goal to be the perfect ale for summertime quaffing and nothing more I would say they had some success. This beer has drinkability, and little flavor. You could quaff pint after pint of this with more flavor than you would be with BMC.

From an old rating note: 12oz bottle. Hazy gold pour with a small white head. Grainy wheat, citrus, pear and mild malts. Grainy malt taste with hints of floral and spice. Light drinking here.

Just a hiiiiint of wheat on the nose and on the palate. Crisp beer, but there’s not enough flavor here to be a real gateway drug for the miller-bud-coors types to start to get into real flavorful beers. Goes downs soft on the finish, but not much else to recommend it.

Golden yellow with a hint of amber. Thick white head that leaves a slight foam on the surface. Good retention and lacing. Lime, orange, grass. Hops and a little bit of yeast. Tangy citrus flavors, mostly lemon/lime attack first. Followed by a bland sweetness and some light wheat notes. It’s got an okay body, but the citrusy flavor somehow seems to cut into what might have been a decent thing. Unimpressive. Don’t think I’ll try this one again for a couple seasons.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow golden with a medium frothy white head that leaves decent spotty lacing along the glass. The aroma is a light wheat and citrus. Thin mouthfeel with a light bitter hops and citrus. Easy to drink, a decent wheat from Breckenridge.

Very good, awesome beer. Perfect taste, nice and light. Not just a summer ale, great for any time of the year, especially on a cold and snowy day. Get it if you can!

Not a big fan of these American Wheat thangs. Just the wheat aroma, no subtleties, i.e. no bouquet, just aroma. Somewhat tangy, citrusy palate is a tiny bit interesting. Okay. By the way this was clear yellow, on the pale side.

Pours a rather typical clear straw yellow with a thick but not persistent white head. Aroma is fairly strong, crisp and malty with a yeasty undertone. Flavor is about average, malty and slightly fruity but nothing special. Texture is smooth, a little tingly and a tiny bit on the watery side. Still, it was a nice bit of sunshine on a nasty rainy day.

A clear light gold pour with a white head and moderate carbonation. Aroma of hops and wheat. A floral flavor with hop tartness and some honey. Crisp and refreshing. Somewhat dry.
