bbrock81 (191), Le Mars, Iowa, USA Oct 31, 2002 This was a very good pale ale for me. I don’t really like the style that much, but I always want to try new beers. This one was good. A good hoppy flavor, but not overpoweringly so. I suppose it tasted like a little bit watered-down version of many other pales. I liked it better than fans of this style will, that’s for sure. Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates May 7, 2004 Very clear, light golden-amber. Tartness up front. Citric hop at first bite, then settles into a mild malt. Pretty good. maltdog (429), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Nov 20, 2007 Happy, near clear traffic light amber, healthy eggshell froth. Excellent lacing. Bright citric/floral hop bouquet… accents of mandarin orange and doughy malt. Flavor is like drinking flowers, dosed with hoppy sharpness, toast, nectarines, German riesling, musk, oak. Some residual sweetness. Creamy palate, extemely smooth... but maybe a little flabby, needs more dryness and carbonation to wake it up. Gentle, resiny aftertaste; hoppy but not bitter. A fine APA. thehoff (522), Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA Sep 6, 2005 Gold amber. foamy white head. Slightly sour nose., metallic, musty. The flavor is also a little sour and leads into a great bitterness that is excentuated by the sourness. It isn’t over the top but definitely isnt lacking in hops. Quite a nice pale ale. MattShizzle (353), Bernville, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 22, 2007 Bottle - from sampler pack. Dark golden in color. Really good. Rich and quite hoppy. An excellent pale ale.
