| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Nov 19, 2009 I thought this was good overall porter, delicately Sweet, roasted malt, not a lot of backbone or hop balance, but good enough to get again, rather flat looking light tan head. aaronh2012 (10), Maryland, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 18, 2009 Tastes like a very neutral dark ale with a bit of vanilla extract. It doesn’t taste bad, but it leaves a lot to be desired. matthewjk (57), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Nov 17, 2009 Enjoyed this one on tap and from bottle on the same day! This porter might have been supurb if it had a better malt / hop balance. The vanilla is very nice, but it can’t compensate for a mediocre base. I must say, however, it is quite drinkable and would purchase again. On tap is a little better. djd07 (733), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 16, 2009 On tap at flying saucer. Pours a very dark brown with a snall frothy light tan head that diminishes quickly leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is a faint roast and caramel. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet roast and vanilla. Easy to drink a good porter from Breckenridge. watson1977 (265), , Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 13, 2009 pours a very deep brown color...not quite black...with a fairly thin light tan head...poor retention. aroma is slightly nutty and roasty with a hint of molasses with faint vanilla and alcohol aromas. flavor has caramel and vanilla with some nuttiness...tastes a bit like vanilla extract smells. slightly creamy mouthfeel with a nutty vanilla finish. iceman15658 (13), Acme, Pennsylvania, USA
