gabbama (115), Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, USA May 1, 2008 Aroma is not very strong but is dominated by vanilla with a good chocolate malt background. Vanilla is the first flavor with the chocolate and toffee malt coming through slightly later. Finish is all vanilla with a nice aftertaste. kpresley77 (133), Jackson, Georgia, USA Apr 29, 2008 Bottle pours dark amber/brown color with vanilla and malt aroma. Taste starts vanilla then sweet toffee and vanilla finish. Wish the vanilla wasnt the dominant flavor. Suttree (2702), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Apr 28, 2008 Black, thin tan head. Vanilla fudgey aroma, as one might expect. Flavor is like an Oreo cookie in a glass - nice vanilla flavors mix with chocolatey malts. If anything, it verges on being a bit too sweet. Enjoyable, though. Sampled at the Flying Saucer, Raleigh. BOLTZ7555 (1053), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Apr 27, 2008 Can definitely taste the sweet, familiar vanilla coming through. Same color and thickness of pure vanilla extract. Wish the other flavors were more dominant. One dimensional. Ungstrup (14754), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 23, 2008 Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and coffee. The flavor is sweet mlaty with notes of vanilla, coffee, and roasted malt. phishpond417 (1861), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Apr 22, 2008 Another nice beer from Breckenridge. Pours a deep dark brown colour with a full vanilla head. Nutty, roasted malts, cinnamon and vanilla in the aroma. Mouthfeel is genuinely creamy, well balanced. Taste is enticing, sweet, not too sweet- vanilla, hints of coffee, toffee and butterscotch. Swalden28 (1439), McKinney, Texas, USA Apr 21, 2008 Bottle. Pours a deep brown-ruby with tan head with medium retention. Aroma was obvious vanilla with dark roast....flavor was the same, sweet with vanilla being dominate. Medium carbonation with medium body.
