Light aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and molasses. Poured a dark brown with small, light tan head that quickly receded into a thin foamy cap. Nice light lacing. A very nice sweet flavor of roasted malt, sweet chocolate, molasses, light vanilla. A very nice bitter sweet medium finish. Very pleasant. Light body, thin, slighly oily texture, with a soft to medium carbonation. A very pleasant Porter, although a touch more vanilla would’ve been nice. I really enjoyed and will definitely buy again. Served in a Stein.

dark brown color with a thin body. aroma is sweet malts and metal. flavor is surprisingly mellow. i thought it was going to be a syrupy mess but, it turns out, it is quite mild. light coffee flavor with a hint of vanilla...almost an iced coffee. nice easy drinker...

Breckenridge Vanilla Porter surprised me and quite a few others. It poured a dark black colored body with a small head. The aroma was pleasant with a note of vanilla, malts, etc. The taste was a goldmine. It was a blend of coffee/chocolate from the roasted malts mixed prefectly with the vanilla beans. WOW! I’m ordering more of this porter

Talk about a dessert beer. Looks like your standard porter - black with a thin tan head; once the aroma hits you, though, you know you’re in for something different. I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one but the strong vanilla aroma quickly piqued my interest. The best way to describe the flavor would probably be to say it’s like drinking Hersey’s syrup. The strong vanilla flavor mixes quite well with the traditional bitter chocolate porter notes. This is probably one of those "love it or hate it" type things, but I loved it.

Dark in colour and poured with good head. Very large range of flavours. Chocolate and vanilla taste that has a lasting aftertaste. Different and enjoyable

Who would have concieved deep in your mind that deep in the jungles of Papua New Guinea and Madagascar grew the perfect ingredient to build an extraordinary Porter in Colorado? An ale that has all the chocolate and roasted nut flavor of an extroadinary Porter, with an enigmatic electrical surprise tossed in for good measure, real genuine vanilla bean. It has a vanilla kiss in a fantastically rich, dark sea. I dedicate this beer to zack and cat, may they have many good years of marriage untill they grow sick and tired of each other and die old and grouchy together.

I’m suprised this isn’t rated higher by most. I’m not a fan of this brewer, but glad I picked this up. Aroma of coffee withjust a hint of chocolate. Pour was perfect...a dark deep brown with a 2 finger off white head that stayed for most of the beer. The taste was NOTHING like the aroma. Very sweet and full. Full on vanilla and malt with a hint of coffee/chocoalate mid gulp. Nice and creamy mouthfeel. Nothing like I’ve had from them before! Good job!
