Great sweet flavor that I enjoy from time to time. Not an everyday drinker, too sweet for that but at dinner 3 or 4 is nice. drowland (1380), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

It’s there, but quite subtle. DJMonarch (6630), Northwich, Cheshire, England

Better from a keg than the bottle. Finish as sweet as the smell. Nice taste but not something I could drink many of at the same sitting. uhclem (189), Loveland, Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 9, 2009 Deep ruby pour with a thin head and negligible lacing. Nose is chocolate, mocha and a hint of vanilla. Vanilla makes its presence known at the first taste, then lets the chocolate, mocha and some coffee come through. Silky mouthfeel. Finish is bitter chocolate. bblack99 (202), Kansas City, Missouri, USA

Smells of roasted malt, a touch of coffee, and some sweetness like molasses. Flavor brings up the vanilla in the body, overwhelming sweetness at first, but the flavors mellow and fall off quickly and leave a smooth aftertaste. The roasted malt bitterness and heavy cream help the situation. Other than the wild initial flavor, this is a very nice flavored porter. jstraw (755), Chicago, Illinois, USA
