May 4, 2007 Bottle. Pour brownish black with a very thin off-white head. Only a faint scent of vanilla and hop. Taste was malt, chocolate and overall vanilla especially the aftertaste. It’s maybe too light for a porter. Not complex, but definitely a new flavor for me.

May 2, 2007 This beer pours a nice dark, toasty brown with very little head. Aroma and flavor are predominantly vanilla, but has a nice roasted tone to it. Not very complex, but drinkable.

Apr 30, 2007 Deep brown with a small head.Can see light through the glass. Rich vanilla and chocolate aroma. Rich vanilla and chocolate taste. Vanilla and a bit of grassy hops and roasted nuts. I really like vanilla. I’ve even liked it in some dark beers. But this seems like a bit much.

Apr 29, 2007 Dark Brown with Cream Ring. Light Roasted Malts and Real Rich Vanilla Notes on the Nose. Heavy Mouthfeel..Very Creamy. Nice Thick Malty Body with Mild Roasts and Sweet Almost Syrupy Vanilla Overtones. Ends Bittersweet and Lightly Roasted. Very Nice.
Obtained This Bottle Directly From Colorado...HAVE noted that Breckenridge’s Beers Don’t Ship to Minnesota Well At all.

Apr 29, 2007 Pours black with half inch tan head. Mild aroma of roasted malts, plums and a hint of vanilla. Flavor was roasted malts, molasses, mild cocoa and a semi-sweet vanilla finish. Interesting beer.

Apr 28, 2007 Nice dark brown color. Light tan head. Very nice vanilla smell, that continues on in the flavor. Sweet vanilla after taste, with no lingering bitterness. Very good after dinner drink, or just something to sip on to get a very good buzz.

Apr 24, 2007 Updated: May 15, 2007Bottle. Poured a light black color with a nice head, lots of legs. Aroma is overly scented with vanilla, light malt and oats. Flavor is extremely sweet with vanilla dominating the flavor, very dry.

Apr 24, 2007 Pours almost black with a half inch tan head. Nose is rich with chocolate and some vanilla. Taste has all the qualities of a porter, roasty, some chocolate. The vanilla comes on the finish. As the beer warms, the vanilla becomes much more predominant. Nice beer that is quite drinkable.
