Clear, dark brown with an orange hue and arough, off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt and vanilla. Medium body, sweetish roasted malts and then these very distinct vanilla accents. The bitterness is very discreet. Vanilla goes well in bourbon flavoured beers, but otherwise I really don’t dig it. 180907 yespr (11906), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Dec 11, 2007 Medium brown colour. Fairly heavy vanilla nose...but not exactly evoking the ring-tailed lemurs of Madagascar. There’s some light chocolate notes in there as well. Heavy vanilla on the palate, with the slight toastiness of a thinnish porter. Not all that cohesive, either, unfortunately. fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
