Roasty choco-malt nose, vanilla and milk chocolate (read: cheap milk chocolate). An initial bitter bite trails off quickly, replaced by sweet milk chocolate and vanilla extract flavor. Body is firmly on the thin side, which kind of leaves an impression of Nestle Quik. Overall, I award this a resounding "eh". frankenkitty (1903), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 26, 2006 Deep brown color with a slim, cream-colored skin & halo. Starts with a cream soda/root beer aroma which all but cover some roasty notes. A lot of vanilla in flavor with malts that taste sweet and pale rather than dark and roasted. Vibrant mouthfeel thins-out a mid-syrupy body, yet the finish hangs like a swallow of cough syrup. Weak coffee bitters in the aftertaste. Interesting.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 16, 2006 Aroma is vanilla coke, bit of butterscotch and hazelnut. Body is black with ruby tinge, no real head on it. Taste is mildly sweet, with a bit of hazelnut, seems more like a brown then a porter because of the wateriness of it. ucusty (1900), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA
