Draft from the Pub in northern, ky this delicious vanilla and chocolate delight is better than most deserts and is soo easy to drink and enjoy. i heartily recommend. MattShizzle (385), Bernville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 11, 2007 Bottle. Dark brown. I like this a lot! Good porter. Definitely notice vanilla flavor, but it’s not overwhelming. peter (385), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 7, 2006 Great coloration with a slight red tinge. Nose is roast with slight vanillia. Mouth is roasted coconut and walnut shells. Stong medicinal ash and lik-a-stick (vanillia candy). Tounge is oily, with a missmatched drying quality. Much like a campfire marshmallow that is burnt and covered in wood ash, left overnight, and eaten with the morning coffee, while a bear mauls your face. scooterbub (382), Lander, Wyoming, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 4, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark red-brown with a thin, creamy, tan head. Taste is of caramel, roasted malt and vanilla. The aroma is the same, except the vanilla really shines through. Pretty easy to drink as it is smooth, but it was at its best when it was ice cold. Overall, this is not a bad seasonal brew, but for the money I’d rather go with something else. Block (379), West Lafayette, Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 7, 2009 Black pour with a tan head. I couldn’t detect much vanilla in the aroma or flavor. Nice chocolate and caramel flavor but nothing over the top. A decent porter. mistersinalin (378), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 12, 2008 Bottle. Dark brown with dark red edges and a thick foamy tan head. Aroma is pretty weak. Was expecting much more roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malt and some vanilla. Also a decent roastedness, just not as much as I would like. Overall, very drinkable and easy going. dmschefke (371), Eastpointe, Michigan, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 26, 2009 Pours a dark brown with medium tan head, decent lacing. Flavor strong of vanilla, roasted malt, and not a lot else. Flavor is bordering cloyingly sweet, but not bad otherwise.
