Aroma is roasty with a hint of vannilla. Flavor feels rather mild, roasty and some good vanilla - especially when it’s more warm (I wish they served it not quite so cold). Great vanilla finish. jgentgesdo (564), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA

Flavor of vanilla, oak, very nutty and creamy, quite mild. Creamy, very good mouthfeel. I like it a lot. brentfeesh (1038), Gadsden, Alabama, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 7, 2006 12 oz bottle. Chestnut looking pour with a nice light head and plentiful carbonation. Coffee, vanilla and cake aromas abound. The flavor is vanilla through the roof! It’s like a vanilla cream soda with light licorice and very light toasted malts. It’s almost too much (but one is fine). Creamy medium body with pleasant carbonation that does not distract. Good stuff, but very powerful in the vanilla category (minus one in the overall for the overpowering character). keoki182 (305), West Bend, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 8, 2007 Enjoyed out of the bottle from Jeff’s Spirits on Main. Beautiful light vanilla nose, hints of roasted malts. First sip is kind of surprising, tastes sharp, like vanilla-infused vodka. I didn’t like my first sip at all. Once the beer warmed slightly, the vanilla flavor merged much more gracefully with the roasted malt flavor (burnt and smoky). 10 minutes in, I found this to be a very good albeit nontraditional porter from Breckenridge. Good stuff. Cybercat (797), Georgia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 26, 2009 This one pours a deep, opaque sable with a fairly thick light tan head. Aroma is smoky and coffee-ish with an overtone of vanilla, a little like coffee with vanilla flavored cream added. Flavor is strongly of fine roast coffee with a sweet vanilla overtone. Texture is very smooth, almost flat and just a little fizzy. Tybalt (56), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Not something that I’d drink everyday, but if you’re in the mood for something smooth and sweet, then give this one a shot. Skinnyviking (4157), Copenhagen, Denmark

Mild, sweet aroma. The beer was incredibly sweet with a lot of vanilla to it. I loved the vanilla flavor, and I think it was something a lot of people would enjoy. Very sweet.
