An ale that has all the chocolate and roasted nut flavor of an extroadinary Porter, with an enigmatic electrical surprise tossed in for good measure, real genuine vanilla bean. It has a vanilla kiss in a fantastically rich, dark sea. I dedicate this beer to zack and cat, may they have many good years of marriage untill they grow sick and tired of each other and die old and grouchy together. Wakie (612), Centreville, Virginia, USA

It poured a dark black colored body with a small head. The aroma was pleasant with a note of vanilla, malts, etc. The taste was a goldmine. It was a blend of coffee/chocolate from the roasted malts mixed prefectly with the vanilla beans. WOW! I’m ordering more of this porter Crafty07 (393), Florence, Kentucky, USA

Aroma was vinallia. The flavor was vinalla with some malty aftertaste. Sort of a beer float without hte ice cream. The winner of the taster. This beer is nice and dark with a thin beige/tan head. I could definitely smell the vanilla, and not much else. The vanilla was more pronounced in the aroma than in the taste. Vanilla was apparent, but traditional porter flavors broke through as well. I disagree on the overpowered vanilla taste, I found it to be a perfect amount. Creamy mouth feel and a nice smooth finish round out this wonderful beer. soonerfreak (6), Texas, USA does not count | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Aug 26, 2009 I love this beer! Great sweet flavor that I enjoy from time to time. Not an everyday drinker, too sweet for that but at dinner 3 or 4 is nice.
