Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a light brown head that diminishes somewhat rapidly. Aroma has a very present vanilla scent as well as chocolate and roasted malt. Very unique aroma. Flavour is sweet, with a heavy vanilla flavour as well as sweet chocolate, roasted malt, and some hops. Carbonation is just right and mouthfeel is pleasant, but a little thin. Finish is somewhat astringent with subtle chocolate and nut flavours that disappear quickly. It’s an interesting brew, just that I’m a little underwhelmed by it as I have been by many of the Breckenridge brews I’ve tried so far. Still, it’s a decent brew and I’ll be perfectly happy drinking the rest of the 6-pack.

Dark brown pour with a fluffy tan head and drippy lace. Sweet malts and vanilla on the nose. Hazelnuts, chocolate malts upfront. Sweet vanilla finish almost lingers too long

Fairly standard porter flavour infused with a vanilla zinger. Only a mild hop characteristics, overall a sweet beer. Worth a try.

on tap at oasis in rockford. no, it was a bottle. poured dark with a brown head. I don’t know how much vanilla they add but you could sure taste it. A bit of chocolate to boot. Refreshing and smooth. I would have this again, no question about it.

Pour had almost no head and seemed thin. Color was a dark brown with aroma of vanilla and hints of coffee, but weak. Tasted of vanilla malts with hints of caramel and has a slight bitter coffee after taste. Overall the flavor has a thin feel to it. Feels thicker on the tongue than the pour and flavor would have you think.

white head. smelled of alcohol slight vanilla. tastes of light vanilla, roasted malts.

Black in color with a medium sized tan head. Aroma is of chocolate and vanilla bean. Flavor is of coffee and vanilla.

Draft. Pours a dark brown with a decent tan head. Vanilla nose with some nut. Flavors a good vanilla with some roasted malt too. Something off a little on the palate. Overall nice porter.
