Commercial Description:
Who would have thought deep in the jungles of Papua New Guinea and Madagascar grew the perfect ingredient to build an extraordinary Porter in Colorado? An ale that has all the chocolate and roasted nut flavor of a classic Porter, with an enigmatic surprise thrown in for good measure, real vanilla bean. Breckenridge Brewery’s Vanilla Porter. A vanilla kiss in a rich, dark sea.

Black with a creamy tan head. Aroma of cola slightly, chocolate, and vanilla. Flavor is quite the same, plenty of chocolate flavor along with a well balanced vanilla character that isn’t overpowering. Slight roast flavor in the end. This is a great change of pace and oh so satisfying.

Dark, reddish-brown color. Not much head. Chocolate aroma. Sweet and mildly hoppy. A lot of vanilla, with a hint of malt and chocolate. Mildly carbonated. Very good.

Nice dark brown color. Light tan head. Very nice vanilla smell, that continues on in the flavor. Sweet vanilla after taste, with no lingering bitterness. Very good after dinner drink, or just something to sip on to get a very good buzz.

Deep black in color, heavy vanilla aromas. A nice twist on the rich porters. Went down cool and milky, with the vanilla taste you would expect from the silky aromas. I enjoyed this very much.

this porter pours a dark brown color with a light brown head. The smell is a chocolate-caramel-vanilla scent. The taste is just like the smell. A very tasty beer, wish they sold it where I live.

Excellent porter. Leaves a creamy taste in your mouth. The second one really starts to grow on you. I wouldn’t say the vanilla is very pronounced. But the porter has a good balance of smoothness and bitterness. Could use more head though.

The suprising thing here is the aroma which isn’t artificial in nature but is smokey and pleasant with a hint of vanilla. The kiss of vanilla is pleasant but not awe-inspiring much like the beer itself.

Definitely a drinkable beer. The vanilla flavor was mild as was the smokiness that porters tend to have. Very smoothe goign down.
