The beer poured a dark brown alomst pop like with tan head. The smell is a sweet vanilla and a slight malt. The taste is a nice mild vanilla, it is all most like drinking rootbeer. The carbonation and mouth feel are just like pop. Nice! 1010 (212), Marysville, Ohio, USA

You can definitely smell the vanilla along with some chocolate. Has a very drinkable taste. awood (4), Austin, Texas, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Mar 20, 2007 Good, full bodied palate. Pleasant taste that transforms as the beer warms (becomes much hoppier as it apprached room temperature). Rather liked the vanilla essence that seems to me to be stronger when the beer is cold. keepersj12 (810), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA

Very dark with a large head. Taste is like a cream soda with malt. I was very impressed. I even let my wife try some. mlist55 (210), media, Pennsylvania, USA

Some coffee as well. Flavor is loaded with vanilla. Very sweet and creamy flavor with some roasted chocolate malts and a slightly nutty finish. Really sweet finish and aftertaste.

Pours copper with tan head.
Aroma of light vanilla and chocolate.
The vanilla is neither too strong nor too weak, there is enough to be noticed and create an amazing nose.
Taste of vanilla with underlying touch of sweet lactose.
Very smooth, light roasted malts, touch cocoa powder and chocolate.
Leave this beer warm up and it becomes a great porter filled with outstanding vanilla mouthfeel. The vanilla kicks off a good flavor but gets over powered.
