I’d say that’s fair. It might have been a little thin, not quite as much roast as other porters, but that vanilla was so tasty. Of course, the vanilla is a little divisive, but this beer was an unexpected smash hit for me. daddyslick (36), Arizona, USA

Pours copper with tan head.
Aroma of light vanilla and chocolate.
The vanilla is neither too strong nor too weak, there is enough to be noticed and create an amazing nose.
Taste of vanilla with underlying touch of sweet lactose.
Very smooth, light roasted malts, touch cocoa powder and chocolate.
Leave this beer warm up and it becomes a great porter filled with outstanding vanilla mouthfeel. The vanilla kicks off a good flavor but gets over powered. highibus (439), Mill Creek, Washington, USA

Intense vanilla flavor, and that is a good thing. It seems just right. Very smooth and palatable. My favorite vanilla porter. badnewsbeers (1026), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
