Intense vanilla flavor, and that is a good thing. It seems just right. Very smooth and palatable. My favorite vanilla porter. badnewsbeers (1026), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

Slight coffee aroma. Reminds me of chocolate cake. Very nice! Immediate coffee flavor. Sugary caramel and fig notes. Pronounced vanilla flavor. Finish is mildly hoppy and slightly bitter. I thought that this was a quality product. Easy and delicious! jimmyh221 (157), Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 10, 2007 Pours a ruby/brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose is of roasted malts, toffee and vanilla, but is somewhat muted. The mouthfeel is full-bodied, creamy and soft with a fairly clean finish for a porter. The flavor is roasted malts, vanilla and cocoa with a pleasant roasted finish. Having been pretty disappointed with the Breckenridge offerings that I’ve sampled to this point, this one was a pleasant surprise. If you love vanilla, like I do, give it a try. amishcaravan (239), Winona, Minnesota, USA
