Commercial Description:
Who would have thought deep in the jungles of Papua New Guinea and Madagascar grew the perfect ingredient to build an extraordinary Porter in Colorado? An ale that has all the chocolate and roasted nut flavor of a classic Porter, with an enigmatic surprise thrown in for good measure, real vanilla bean. Breckenridge Brewery’s Vanilla Porter. A vanilla kiss in a rich, dark sea.

Pours a deep deep mahogany. Caramel and vanilla nose. Intense vanilla flavor, and that is a good thing. It seems just right. Very smooth and palatable. My favorite vanilla porter.

this was some good stuff...pours black with little head...aroma is full of chocolates, vanilla, and strong coffee....flavor is the equivalent, and is quite tasty...a perfect vanilla bean, coffee, and chocolate balance....has nice roasted and smoke-like backbone...i want more

This beer has a very nice/ coffee vanilla smell as well as taste that is apparent immediately. Dark appearance with no head to speak. Not as thick as I expected, roasted nut aftertaste Overall, a good beer. I would get this again

12oz bottle. Dark brown hue. Lacing white head. Sweet vanilla malty nose. Dark chocolate. Slight coffee aroma. Reminds me of chocolate cake. Very nice! Immediate coffee flavor. Sugary caramel and fig notes. Pronounced vanilla flavor. Finish is mildly hoppy and slightly bitter. I thought that this was a quality product. Easy and delicious!

It had a spare head. The color was black. There was a vanilla and chocolate taste and smell. The beer had a nice smooth finish.

Pours a ruby/brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose is of roasted malts, toffee and vanilla, but is somewhat muted. The mouthfeel is full-bodied, creamy and soft with a fairly clean finish for a porter. The flavor is roasted malts, vanilla and cocoa with a pleasant roasted finish. Having been pretty disappointed with the Breckenridge offerings that I’ve sampled to this point, this one was a pleasant surprise. If you love vanilla, like I do, give it a try.

Purchased in Breckenridge sampler pack. Nice aroma of chocolate and vanilla. quickly disappearing head that turns into a white ring around the outside of the glass. Pours a dark brown. Taste is very smooth with taste of vanilla and chocolate. Aftertaste is quite pleasent as well. I would purchase this again.

A friend ordered this and i gave it a try... i was really surprised. This stuff was actually really good and had a great vanilla aroma and flavor. I’m a bit new to the porter style, but this was a very good beer.
