gowdy (127), Ferney-Voltaire, France Mar 6, 2008 Can at home. Couldn’t drink it. hay, skunky, golden, clear, aminimal head, lightly sweet, light body, thin feel, soft carbonation, bitter, shrubber85 (2510), Wallhalben, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany Feb 20, 2008 Can. Grape juice and caramel malt aroma. Golden yellow color with giant head. Very sweet/cloying grape juice flavor. On the plus side, there aren’t really any noticeable fusels but the nasty sweetness negates that positive. nigos (611), Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England Jan 7, 2008 Golden hue with a fast dissapating head. Weak malty nose. Not a massive amount of flavour. Slightly sweet malty flavour with a short slightly bitter after taste. Standard stuff. wunderbier (1266), Tampere, Finland Sep 26, 2007 A thin, foamy, white head vanishes nigh-instantaneously, leaving only a speckling of bubbles atop this clear and lightly copper-hued "beer". The aroma is unfortunately strong, even at low temperature, and boasts a robust bouquet of grain husks, sweet corn, light malt and shy peppery hops. Flavour is sweet and grainy with a little fruity acidity in the middle and a touch of bitterness at the end with a moderate smack of alcohol. Fuller than average body comes with buzzing carbonation and an almost sticky texture. 50cl can, Leffe goblet, bbe 08/2008. Bart (1369), Vosselaar, Belgium Sep 2, 2007 Blond coloured beer with a small white head and little carbonation. Sweeter malty little alcoholic aroma. Medium palate. Finish is sweet bitter, little astringent grainy. Very medium one.
