Sep 13, 2008 Bottle, 2008 Pre-GBBF Chris o Shindig. Ruby highlighted brown, light tan head with some decent lace. Sticky thick aroma, cough meds, licorice, artifical blackberry sweet. Soft vegital malt flavor, butter and roast around the edges. Tastes better than it smells, but too rough, too estery.

Aug 4, 2008 A Sim rate (bottle at Chris O’s): Malty aroma with caramel sweetness. A bit off-putting with its bizarre sweetness. Bitter, fake caramel flavour. Something unpleasant about it. Malty and not great.

Jun 9, 2008 Bottle. Medium high off-white head leaving nice curtains. Clear very dark red brown body, almost black. Roasted barley malt aroma. Mild and relatively sweet roasted malt flavor with notes of caramel and coffee. Low carbonation, short aftertaste.
