Aug 4, 2008 NZ has a lot of cheap beers that are very drinkable, Brenner is not one of them. A friend once described the taste as being of ’sandy mussels’, although we may have been drinking a dud batch. Steer clear!

Feb 11, 2008 (Can 33 cl) Clear, golden with a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma of malt and a little flowers. Medium body, sweet notes of malt and brewing cereal with a whiff of flowers. Very subdued bitterness. 310108

Feb 1, 2008 Tasted 31/01/2008. Kiwi pale lager that’s even more mettalic than Mac’s Gold. Clean and uninteresting.
