Nitro white head over an amber body with a slight haze. Rather anonymous in aroma and taste. Some moments of dried fruits and plain malts can be spotted. Short lived bitter finish. A comedown compared to all the Titanic brews at the pub (02.05.2009). imdownthepub (5185), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England

A standard session type bitter that is just simple, malty, a tad sweetish, but really quite plain. DruncanVeasey (2768), The Penguin’s Arms, Europe, Warwickshire, England

Slightly jammy dried fruit, coniferous dusty Everard’s aroma. Very Everard’s-like chew of sultana, Weetabix crumbs, faint rhubarb fruit. Some beeswax seeping into the aroma. Simple, clean and tasty BB. hughie (3086), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 1, 2008 Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Amber with a small white head. Dominant note in aroma and taste is a rather grim, dull cardboard. Quite sharp bitterness. Doesn’t do its job, I’m afraid. KnutAlbert (3217), Oslo, Norway

Nice, hoppy bitter, fine body, but not outstanding. A decent session bitter. chriso (4852), London, Greater London, England

Not too much to add to the commercial description really. Copper colour. Slightly rustic, traditional best bitter. Dry, dusty malts underpin some earthy, restrained bitterness. Very slightly woody mouthfeel. Thoroughly English in style. Solid but nothing to really distinguish it from the crowd. Would probably come across better in a pub than at a festival generously populated with dark beers and Christmas specials.
