Breughel Ambiorix

Drank a couple of 1L draughts back in the day, until the place closed down. Sure mis the manly feel to it. Makes one feel like a viking.

Another surprising Breughel, quite decent! Hazy golden ale with thin off white head. Light sweet malt aroma with sulfuric notes and butteré In mout, quite decent sweet malt with light coriander notes, and some good hopping. Medium bodied. Bottle was a gift from Gonzobeer. Enjoyed with Capflu on Feb. 18, 2006.

(660ml bottle) Pours a thin, creamy tan head with a deep brownish-orange body. The nose is of very sweet malt. Flavours of an Abbey Dubbel with much caramel, roasty malts, a pitted fruitiness, and minor yeast content.

Buy this summer at brewery.... Aroma:Light malt caramel aroma... Appearance:clear amber,good withe head,a lot of co2... Flavor:watery,light malt and chalk flavor...
